My best explanation for what the left-right axis represented was "gay issues". It was the only explanation for the placement of people. After Sarah Palin called Santorum a Neanderthal, and said she didn't mind GOProud, they would probably move her over to the left on that chart...

I think not making sense is the whole purpose of that chart. After all, the sheep don't need to escape the left/ right paradigm that keeps all those statists in power. And that is quite the joke to compare Trump to Johnson and Paul lol.
