Trump isn't totally stupid. He gets more press this way, though he does alienate a big part of the 2012 primary activist base.

Donald Trump went out and picked a fight with Dr. Paul.

He had to pick someone who was going to get him some ink.

The fact that The Toup is picking fights with Ron Paul instantly recognizes Dr. Paul's cred.
