Would send quite the message to have Ron Paul win with Gary Johnson win the second choice.

Yeah, it would fuel the idea that Gary is taking over Ron's support and is 'just like Ron'.

People should vote for him second if that is how they feel, but I see downsides as well. But then, I don't really like him, or see the draw there.

If anything, we should be giving signals to Gary that we don't want him to run for president at all.

GJ for Senate!

Exactly.

Don't encourage him to run for president when we need him to become a senator. If he couldn't become a senator, then I would be for him running up until the first primary so that we have 2 liberty candidates in the debates, and only the more popular candidate to be voted for. And of course that would mean voting for Johnson for second choice too.

But since he needs to become a senator, and WOULD WIN, we don't need to encourage him to run for president. We need to get that idea out of his head.

Would they think you an ass, if you were to put Ron for 1st and 2nd choice.
That's what I would be really tempted to do.

For your second choice put "no thanks".

I'm considering putting Rand second.

There's an "Other" option.

Wrote in Rand. They may throw out your ballot if you vote Ron twice.

Now there is a good idea.

Gary Johnson is a Mike Gravel. I don't know why none of the GJ supporters can see that. He is a one trick pony and that pony is a pot head.
