Whoa, I never heard about this before. Thanks for sharing.

Let me see if I'm getting this...

This is practically a miracle cure, but because it costs $100 million to go through the whole testing phase and all the red tape put in place by the FDA, and because there's no patent and it's cheap for any company to make, no one can turn a profit on it so no one is going to bother manufacturing it!?

Ho. Lee. Shit.

This really intrigued me so I started doing a little research and found an interesting article here: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/01/opinion/01moss.html?_r=1

No one is interested in selling a drug that won't make them a profit, no matter what it cures. But without the FDA, it wouldn't be so expensive to get it on the market!

The reason for this problem is that bringing a new drug to market is extremely expensive. In 2001, the estimated cost was $802 million; today it is approximately $1 billion. To ensure a healthy return on such staggering investments, drug companies seek to formulate new drugs in a way that guarantees watertight patents. In the meantime, cancer patients miss out on treatments that may be highly effective and less expensive to boot.

What do you guys think about the patent issue? I've honestly never given this topic much thought.

snip~

The system has failed.
I believe the FDA was designed to make it fail. When those making huge profits are able to pay the FDA to keep non profitable things off of the market, you know what is going to happen. So why is it so staggeringly expensive to bring a life saving drug to market?

This would go a long way towards fixing the FDA (3 bills from Ron Paul): http://www.naturalnews.com/026810_health_free_speech_FTC.html

so, no company will pay for the testing since they wont be able to profit from it. Kind of makes sense, why pay 1 billion for very little profit return?
In this case, why doesn't the government/NHA fund it. Or health insurance companies (it would save them a lot of money in not having to treat cancer -> higher profits)

Before any cures can be fully effective, you first have to get that toxic DNA damaging crap out of your body—and avoid ingesting anymore of it. Another thing is to avoid too much frequency pollution. You must repair your DNA before the body can repair the damage done to your body.
