They still haven't named a single Republican who will vote against it other than Ron Paul.

Too bad my rep. Michael Grimm is for the Patriot Act. :(

I still don't know how my rep is going to vote, but he'll most likely vote "yes" since almost all Republicans are in favor of the Patriot Act. They just get it in their minds that if Dennis Kucinich is against the Patriot Act then they need to support it.

The House of Representatives will be voting on the Patriot Act "provisions" at 1830ET - 1530PT (6:30pm/3:30PM) I presume it will be on C-SPAN if the cowards can't hide.

I just called Michael Grimm's office. The guy who answered the phone said he did not know how he was going to vote. I urged him to vote against it, and he said he would tell him. For whatever reason, he took my name and address.

Yeah, the staffer asked me that as well. I asked to remain anonymous.

My rep has actually been good on this one for a big government republican. He's voted no every time it's come up.

Bump with the latest numbers:

277 — 148 overall.

Only 25 Republicans have voted against it.

It looks like some people are changing their vote after they realize it's going to pass anyway... can you do that?

They'll probably put your name on yet another list (cuz who here isn't already on at least one list lol) of dissenters.

This was put forward on the Suspension calendar. It is a bit of a sneak play, but you need more votes this way.

So when are they going to resurrect this monstrosity and put it up for another vote? Seems like they always do that when they can't get the vote they wanted.
