Perhaps most interestingly, however, the Rasmussen Reports poll indicates that Republican Ron Paul would be a stronger candidate against President Barack Obama than Sarah Palin would be.

President Barack Obama 44% Ron Paul 35%.

President Barack Obama 49% Sarah Palin 38%.

or

Too me it looks like when Paul is thrown into the mix, Independents swing for him FROM Obama, BUT GOP'ers swing away from Paul to someone else, but by a smaller margin than the independents swing.

It's so tough because I truly feel like more people would vote for Paul if they believed he "had a chance" of winning.
