I was flipping through the stations and heard Hannity say that Pat Buchanan was going to be on his radio show to discuss the situation in Egypt. I wasn't able to listen to the interview and wondered whether there's anywhere on the internet where I could listen to the discussion. Does anybody know?

Buchanan is a heroic conservative. Not afraid to tackle the tough issues and has largely been anti-war.

A little to protectionist for me, but right about interventionism for sure.

You're welcome anyways. Looks like you'll have to pony-up or just read about it.

Since this is just a Buchanan love fest, he is the one who convinced me that our foreign policy is wrong.:)

I like about 70-80% of what Buchanan has to say, but I disagree with his focus on Mubarak's reign/US abandonment of our "friends." He's smart enough to realize just how contrived these relationships are, there is no real loyalty involved.

I pretty much like him now, but from the beginning? No - pro-intervention, pro-Bush, pro-Oliver North (and probably pro-drug war but that isn't discussed in this clip). But props to him for adopting non-interventionism since then.

He still sometimes says bad things - last month he rated Obama a B+ on foreign policy even though he should know better:

How could Buchanan support the Vietnam war and then oppose both Iraq wars? That doesn't make much sense. I never knew he was a supporter of the Vietnam war.

The Morton Downey Jr. show had some awesomeness to it. First time I saw Ron Paul. There really hasn't been anything like it since as far as political incorrectness, open debate, cigarette smoking, blowhardedness, and Jerry Springer-style format.

Some of these paleo guys were still heavily opposed to the spread of Communism. Doesn't make much sense in retrospect...

Because Vietnam we killed commies, and commies deserve to die. Dead serious I bet Pat believe that. Not that it's entirely wrong...

It's weird. On twitter there is tons of ron paul support but very very little for Pat. it's weird because to me they are alike in so many ways and identitcal on the key foreign policy stuff.

People really don't like Pat, I guess just based out of the memory of his culture war stuff. Most people don't even know he was against the iraq war. I have to constantly educate people.
