When Bill Hicks brings up Iraqi Elite Republican Guard the boogiemen of the 1st Iraq war, reminds me of the current booogeyman "Muslim Brotherhood".

Of course. When a regime is at risk, they stand to gain by demonizing the alternative. Mubarak and the media are hyping the brotherhood up as the major opposition group; when they're actually one of the many small groups. So, now Mubarak can now claim that his 'Legitimate" government is under attack by an 'extremist islamic group', and attain clout in the international community.

One of the tools used by tyrants.

Amen!

With Bill and George gone, the only people keeping "Thinking Man's Comedy" alive now are Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope. If they vanished from the scene, my deepest fear is that the state of stand-up comedy would devolve to the shameful state it was in during the 80's, when "edgy" material meant jokes about relationships and airline food.
