I'm for getting him to $10 Mil to start off strong to show him as a "contender" as early rankings in elections are based off money.

However I think we need to show the country where and how the new tea party started with a Dec 16th, 2011 money bomb. $20+ Mil target for the day.

I'm thinking around 8 millionish, but voted for 10+ million anyway. It's entirely possible despite the bad economy....he has so many more supporters than he did 4 years ago.

If a moneybomb is conducted 30 days after his announcement, I firmly believe he'll have $10 million from that first moneybomb.

1 million. A lot of democrats gave money last time, they wont be giving this time.

About $100,000. I think a money bomb right after he runs will fail. I think they will be more successful once there is more hype and his run is known. Not everyone who voted for him was a hardcore supporter like us and my not even know about it until they get more involved and interested.

I mean if we have one soon after he announces. I think the 30 day mark is too early.

You'd be surprised how much his popularity has grown, now that Iraq and Afghanistan are not the center of the world for Republicans, debt is.

Ohh and I'll be overly optimistic and say $20 mil. Instead of "It's the economy, stupid", It's should be "It's about living within our means, starting now!"

Can you even call his initial announcement a moneybomb? It will take a few days for the message to seep through the populace.

I was assuming that he would easily crush the last one.
