The one's they chose were McCain, Giuliani, Thompson, Romney, and Huckabee. They showed those five pictures in a little piece about how the race is wide open. More disgusting was they showed each of those candidate's cash on hand, including McCain's $3 million, Huckabee's $650,000 and omitting Ron's $5 million.

Yeah, I saw that. I couldn't possibly hate the media anymore than I do right now. The circus at the debates last night finished it for me.

even if it were true, so what they win a beauty contest for neocons and lose in a landslide to socialists.

If those 5 all get approximately 15% of the vote each, guess who can win with 16% which is certainly reachable.

I don't know what has happened to this country, especially when Rudy, Clinton and Romney are up there.

Could it be the MSM is in a power struggle with the new power of the internet? The internet has billions in advertising as does MSM. The MSM has since radio and T.V. been picking our candidates and its just become obvious with news and info from the unregulated sources on the net. First Dr. Dean(wiped him out with the scream) now Dr. Paul is even stronger with the net. Without a doubt the "net" will pick the candidates and top tiers in the future. MSM , cable tv say hello to the dodo. The future looks bright for liberty lovers.:)

I keep hearing crap on many shows and blogs about how a Ron Paul 3rd Party run could divide the Republican Party, and make it easy for Hillary to win.

Then, they continue with polls citing that 50% of voters would NEVER vote for Hillary.

Not that I don't believe in Ron's run for the GOP nomination - but I feel that if the Republican Party turns its back on Ron Paul, the good doctor could actually win the entire General Election by taking many disgruntled Republicans, as well as Democrats who won't vote for Hillary.

my take...

I agree totally, there are so many sickened by both the Reps and Dems that I think the Good Doctor could take them both out in a three way race.

Just to put it in perspective....Google's market cap is 10% larger than Wal-Mart's

My feelings exactly. And here I thought I had known the true meaning of hate with George Bush.

Google will wipe the floor with the old media in another year or two.

And Google LOVES Ron Paul.

I hate to be a nay-sayer here but, the fact of the matter is that, given today's political climate, I seriously doubt that any third party candidate can win a national election. The ballot access laws vary from state to state and it's very hard for a third party to gain access to all fifty states (plus it's very expensive). Please also keep in mind that the debates (for the general election) typically exclude the third party candidates so the general public never even hears about them. They did a third-party debate at Cornell during the 2004 elections that featured all the third party candidates that was simply AWESOME and, had some of them been allowed into the mainstream debates, the '04 elections would have probably turned our quite differently. Of couse, the PTB can't have that and this is why, I believe, Dr. Paul realized that his best (and maybe only real chance) was to run on the Republican ticket -simply for the exposure that is denied to third-party candidates.

I cant beleive how sad this world is.

I trust the internet, and the internet only now... news media cannot be trusted, that is sooooo clear to me now... i wish they realized how badly they are hurting themselves, people are waking up.

The question is... will enough people wake up in time?
