I could have sworn last time they came out with these tapes, it turned out the main one they used the ACORN lady was placating them so she could do an investigation or something.. I think the folks in the OP ended up losing a lot of credibility.

Hah, well I won't say they weren't successful with their supposed "propaganda", which is a good thing in this case.. it just sucks that it took, well, supposedly dubious information to take them out.

I had heard a pretty convincing report back when this was all going on in September or October of 2009, I don't recall the report I heard, but this quote pretty much sums it up:


In at least six of those instances, either the activists did not clearly tell the ACORN employees that they were planning to engage in child prostitution; or the ACORN employees refused to help them or apparently deliberately misled them; or ACORN employees contacted the police following their visit.

First things first, ACORN spokesman said Jerry Browns office guaranteed they would fault O'Keefe. In the end, they said they did nothing illegal, which is true under California law they did nothing illegal, but the only editting they had found in the videos was that O'Keefe and Giles were dressed in normal clothes unlike in the title sequence. BFD. Doesn't change the fact these ACORN people are disgusting and hypocritical... ACORN the socialists wads that support high taxes for people who create jobs, but have no problem teaching prostitution rings how to evade taxes? Nice.

In the end, what editing could of been done to change the context? She tells them to have them tested and make sure they keep quiet about what happened and the video is quite clear and the audio is very good, so show me how they edited it.

¿Did the ACCORN employees help them or give them advise for child prostitution? Thats what matters. Are the tapes so edited that they give a bad impression or did the ACCORN employees really advise them for child prostitution activities?

The FULL VIDEOS have been around for ages, if it was all in the editing then all the media is morons because the edited videos were the ones showing all the stuff they got caught saying and then there was a full version.

Defund Planned Parenthood

According to LifeNews.com, the videos have inspired pro-life activists. They want to defund (http://www.lifenews.com/2011/02/01/pro-lifers-demand-planned-parenthood-de-funding-after-expose) Planned Parenthood, which receives some $363 million annually in taxpayer funding.

Rep. Mike Pence (http://www.mikepence.house.gov/), R-Ind., has introduced legislation to defund the organization.

In his floor speech on an amendment to Title X (http://www.hhs.gov/opa/familyplanning/index.html) family planning programs, Pence explained (http://mikepence.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3593:ppamdt-rule-speech&catid=48:speeches-and-floor-statements&Itemid=94) that Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion services as well as the largest recipient of federal family planning funds.



The Pence amendment before the Congress today simply states none of the funds made available under this act shall be available to Planned Parenthood for any purpose under Title X of the Public Health Services Act.

The largest abortion provider in America should not also be the largest recipient of federal funding under Title X, as I believe a majority of the American people would attest. The time has come to deny all federal funding to Planned Parenthood of America.
