Encouraging donations (preferably by example) is good. Discouraging donations is not good.

I have to admit I donated today and Saturday and Sunday and I'll still be donating $200 on November 5th. It looks like we're going to pull in a cool Million or more on that day!

The best thing vBulletin did was make changing thread titles based around AJAX.

Just double click, edit and click away. Probably took a mod 3 seconds. Maybe 2.

but i feel you, i don't know why lately the donation police have been on patrol but i think trying to corral donations is totally counterproductive, especially to noobs who don't know us or understand why we bicker like siblings all the time)

(im not talking about those who have started a donate during this moment or that moment campaign because those are awesome!
