You may not know this but Fox has premium subscription audio-only podcasts of some of their TV shows like Glenn Beck, Neil Cavuto, and Hannity:
http://radio.foxnews.com/podcast/
Those are NOT the radio shows, but the TV show in audio format (though they also have some premium radio podcasts). Anyway, I got the idea for a Freedom Watch audio podcast and I emailed them my request, thinking that they'd say something along the lines of "thanks for the feedback, we'll take that under consideration." But great news - they told me Freedom Watch was ALREADY being planned as a podcast. They responded that they don't yet have a specific date, but it will happen "fairly soon" and the person guessed "within a couple weeks" if everything goes according to plan.

This is excellent news b/c I don't get Fox Biz and I want to support Freedom Watch legitimately instead of mooching off youtube or just watching the short clips on the website. Their podcasts are also commercial free and reasonably priced - $5.95/month or $59.95/yr for one show or $79.95/yr for a 4 show bundle (I suggested to them that they make an optional bundle that includes Freedom Watch)

I don't think it'll be necessary to hound them about this though since they already said it's gonna happen soon

Hmmm....I'd think about that if they had Stossel on there, too!

Thanks for the heads-up and initiative in asking. :)

FBN is the best news channel in my opinion. Judge, Stossel, Asman, Boling, Varney, etc. Pretty sure Asman, Boling and Varney are libertarians, if not it sure seems they lean that way. They have hot female reporters too.

Well Stossel is already on Hulu for free:
http://www.hulu.com/stossel
and it's a weekly show unlike Freedom Watch. I think they should bring out some Stossel DVDs and BluRays

Update: Freedom Watch is now available as a podcast! The Fox radio guy emailed me to let me know:
http://radio.foxnews.com/podcast/freedom-watch-premium-podcast/#premium
same price as their other podcasts: $5.95/month, $59.95/year. Very easy way to support Judge Nap is to subscribe (if you don't get Fox Business channel at home) - remember these podcasts are commercial free. Stossel's podcast is coming soon:

This is great! Thanks.

I wish these channels would stream their stuff live. I would pay for it.

That's exactly what I'm trying to fight. Libertarians have been complaining for decades over the lack of a true libertarian TV personality on the air, they finally get one (a damn good one at that) and if they don't get Fox Biz they understandably mooch off youtube. But now you have the chance to support the Judge if you don't get Fox Biz and show Fox there is real demand for liberty types on TV, so there's no excuse to continue mooching off youtube.

Yeah I get fox business. But if I didn't I wouldn't pay to listen to just the audio of the show.

One thing is certain, people won't pay directly for their media these days. They should include advertisements and make the podcast free if they would like people to subscribe (and still make money on it.)

Watching content on YouTube isn't "mooching". If FNC was smart they would release every show on YouTube.

Well I understand this - the 3 major 24 hour news networks aren't putting full episodes of most of their shows commercial-free available for free on youtube. They seek profit through commerce and they get it by selling advertising or selling the programs ad-free. They market their programs by tempting the user to watch or purchase the full program by only showing clips on their websites.

If fans put full episodes of Freedom Watch online I personally think it's a good way to promote the show to people who don't otherwise know about Freedom Watch, but I fully support Fox if they decide to put a stop to that, as they did with that channel that was putting up full episodes of Glenn Beck. But maybe Fox doesn't know anything about commerce, business, marketing, and communications.

It's mooching if an unaffiliated party cuts out the commercials and puts it on youtube. I'd of course prefer if Fox put the full episodes on youtube or hulu w/ ads (like Stossel), but this is really good too - a yearly subscription at $60 comes out to $5/month. After commercials are cut, you get around 15 hours of programming/month at around 33 cents/hour (plus access to back episodes).

If not subscribing to this podcast didn't matter and didn't have an effect on the support of Freedom Watch, Judge Nap wouldn't have tweeted about it:
Judgenap (http://twitter.com/#!/Judgenap)

Want to listen to FreedomWatch but don't get @FoxBusiness Now you can! FreedomWatch is now an audio podcast at: http://bit.ly/gIkPzf

BTW, I subscribed today but do have a complaint - the most recent episode is a week old. That's not how it is for other hosts like Beck and Cavuto. I sent an email today to see what's going on
