Chris Gault + 2 people

My name is Chris Gault, I am a college student from Indiana and I am planning on going to CPAC with YAL.

There were 2 other people in my area that wanted to go to CPAC, but didn't have the funds. I offered both of them a ride, a spot in my hotel room, and got their tickets taken care of.

Unfortunately, the travel costs will be a big chunk of the costs and with no help from either of them, it is a big burden.

I had an extra adams inn ticket and I emailed them and changed the name to Matt Kappus. So he has a room and ticket now. It was like 190 or something. Andrew Edwards has someone there who will be paying for his ticket.
I took care of both of their DC expenses and accommodations myself, I am just asking for a little help on travel!

Lets go win CPAC for RonPaul!

Ian Roy + 1 person

Hey guys, my name is Ian and Im a 24 year old full-time student at Temple University. I attended CPAC 2010 and the International Students for Liberty Conference in 2010. I also worked for the Ron Paul 2008 campaign at the Greenville, SC office. This year I will again be attending CPAC and the SFL Conference and with my limited student funds (I also just returned from studying abroad in Cairo) I will have trouble getting to these, especially CPAC. I will be driving from Philadelphia, PA to the conference in DC along with staying 2 nights at a local hotel. My van gets about 15 mpg and I will be bringing one other Ron Paul supporter with me to her first CPAC. I would be so grateful for any help you all could provide me as I can promise you votes for Ron Paul and the education and experience that myself and my friends will get from this conference. Thank you all so much and I can't wait to either see you at the conference or work with you moving towards 2012!

Here's the itemized costs list:

- 301 miles round trip/ 15 mpg / @ around $3.30 per gallon in Philadelphia = around $66
- 2 nights at an undisclosed hotel= likely around $70 per person
- $35 ticket purchased before CFL offered the discounted student price
- Food costs: around $75 for 3 days of meals
CPAC TOTAL: $246

Megan Stiles

Just trying to get some gas money to get to CPAC. I used to work on Rand's Campaign in KY and would love to get to go to CPAC for the first time!

Ani

I am helping five students from the Young Americans for Liberty - University of Iowa chapter travel to Washington, D.C. for CPAC 2011. These students are strong Ron Paul fans who are excited to promote liberty in every way they can, but lack the necessary funds to support liberty at CPAC this year due to the costs of being college students.

The students will be lodging at a hostel ($120 per student), spending conservatively on food ($76), and will travel in a carpool ($122 to and from DC). The cost adds up quickly so anything you would be willing to donate would be sincerely appreciated!

If any of ya'll are in the College Republicans organization, they may have discounted hotels/transportation as well. That was the option I took, and I just secured my spot a few days ago.

Hotel is not necessary. Go on the first day. You can vote, see Ron speak TWICE!, and attend the Ron Paul cocktail event! It cuts cost by 210. That is my plan.
