Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act.
Does anybody know much about this bill? I saw that it was passed 93-0 in the Senate last year, but the house never took it up. I'm just wondering if this will be the kind of bill that we'll see a 98-2 vote on with Rand and Mike Lee voting no.

I'm not sure what the cost is or whether it's new spending.

This says that it passed last year 93-0. For some reason it didn't make it all the way through Congress.

Is the FAA something that could be considered constitutional under the commerce clause?

Probably . Also likely to have been included something similar in article one section eight if air travel existed at the time . There with navy , post roads etc.
