This one's not nearly as scathing as the Herald-Leader's take on Rand's spending cuts proposal. Basically they just say this is what you voted for Kentucky.

Indeed it is!

By the way, Josh doesn't like that paper, you may want to break the link, at least. Last time I posted them he asked me not to, anymore.

LOL

I love the scare quotes around 'enumerated powers' of the Constitution.

And they quote Kristol's AEI as an expert, likely for the first, but not last time....after all they are a pretend CONSERVATIVE big government cheerleader.

That paper is filled with Hacks and cover-up people. Just like the Lexington Herald Leader.

$1.7 Trillion was added to the national debt last year, yet $500 billion in cuts is somehow seen as outlandish and impractical. Liberals (and most conservatives) really do live in the Twilight Zone.

I'm glad you said "most conservatives" there because even Fox is saying that these cuts are radical. It's messed up ... somehow a 1.5 trillion deficit isn't radical to them. It makes no sense whatsoever, but everyone seems to buy it.

Has anybody co-sponsored Rand's budget cut proposal yet?
