I am a journalist in the state that has managed to deliver Jeb and George 4 winning elections.Been a member of FR since 1999.

So, how long until the 'news' organization he works for is discovered?

Try contacting the local and conservative media as well, and being utterly polite. Don't come off as a conspiracy-minded supporter. In fact, don't even mention you're a Ron Paul supporter, but rather a concerned citizen (which you are)--and give them facts, URLs, etc.

By attaching your support to a candidate's name, outlets may think you have an inherent bias and may bypass your concern.

TheIndependent

Also, Blog/Digg/Reddit this information but DO NOT attach your name as a supporter to a particular campaign.

The fact he's a journalist isn't the problem - everyone has some sort of job and journalists are entitled to their opinions as well. However, it appears from his writing that he was not an "undecided voter" like he was made out to be during the focus group.

Yup, he does work for a public relations firm that worked to get George W and bro, Jeb into their government offices. Apparently, he left journalism a few years back (so said).

He has modified his profile since I originally posted this.

What I quoted was word for word in his profile.

See?

His profile changed in the past hour or so.

Aww..I hurt some Paulie fans by calling their boy out on global television.

That has to be the most immature thing I have seen in quite some time. But then again to quote Frank Luntz:

“Why doesn’t it shock me that a Paul supporter would pull this sort of crap?”

I didn’t say what I did to intimidate any “Paul” voters. I said what I said because that is what I believe. An opinion that is all. It’s funny because this morning Paul voters are trying to out me and what news organizations I work for since I used to be a journalist for a few wire services and papers.

LOL. Too bad for them I left the field in 2005 to work for a better job in advertising!

We all agreed that Liberals are all together and rooted by one thing...HATE. That is why they appear to be more strong and glued tight. Their hatred over the 2000 election, Republicans, George W Bush, No Child Left Behind, Iraq, 9-11, WOT,oil, the environment...it’s all our fault so they are strong together in hate. So they move like sheep together.

No third party. People were kind of worried that Ron Paul is going to pull a Perot and cost us another election. I said not to worry that the only reason Ron Paul is up there still is because of anti-war donating libertarians. He will be shut out soon enough.

The consenus at the start of the night was more people would like to have a true Reagan/Nixon like Conservative but sadly there were a good number of people at the end of the night who said they were willing to accept the nominee and vote against Hillary and not so much for the nominee if it were Rudy.

I think we might hear of that on Hannity and Colmes tonight. Luntz really had this look on his face when I called her a socialist and then later a communist. Which forced him to ask the room who here thinks Hillary is a socialist.

The crew behind him looked like a deer in headlights.

The only reason I want them to go is so we can get on with the business of supporting one candidate like the Dem’s are with Hillary. It’s cluttered. We have to be realistic...Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul are not polling well at all and are not getting the funds to survive.

It is a total shame because I really like Hunter and Tancredo...but their future should be in a cabinet position in the next Republican White House.

My fiancee said to me on the ride home last night “Are you scared for your life now that you said so much on TV about the Clinton’s?”

I said two things:

1. I said plenty in 2000 about the criminal enterprise known as the Clinton’s to survive.

2. I am scared for my life if I DON’T speak up against the Clinton’s.

Period.

I have your answer and it comes straight from them off camera. Luntz is from Connecticut and he openly said he shouldn’t be saying this but “Rudy cleaned up NYC from the shit hole it was under Dinkins and Koch...he saved it..that he was mugged in the streets when Dinkin was mayor...he enforces what he believes in”

Luntz’s words...not mine.

I think it is a northeast/nyc thing. They all have roots in NYC and know Hillary is not a New Yorker and Rudy is centrist enough to swallow voting R.

Yes. He was very specific on Rudy and pushing him. I would tell you if you were only seeing things at home in the wrong light. I am however not pleased this morning on the Fox editors who chose to edit out a lot of the responses from last night’s q&a that was going on for at least 70 mins.

We will see what else Luntz has to say on Hannity and Colmes tonight when he covers more of last night’s group.

Yes he was pushing the Rudy questions, then he had a total of one for Thompson, and then Romney rounded out a few. He mentioned Huckabee a few times just to add to the list of names. There were 4 who thought Huckabee won the debate...I was one of them. I thought he was strong and clear. But I am sure there will be someone here to tell me how wrong I am on that opinion ;)

Side note on Hunter from the room...about a group of 7 of the 23 said Duncan Hunter looks and sounds like the man you would want but has run a horrible campaign that is going to finish him off.

That he should blame himself for not getting attention put on himself enough and raising more money to survive.

I just watched the morning reports on my dvr...total joke and a hatchet job by the Fox crew. You could just feel the Rudy shill going on last night and they cut my comments out about how disappointed and sad it was to hear that people were changing their minds for Rudy right in front of me.

I thought we all decided at the start that we wanted a true conservative to win this thing? Luntz pushed the Rudy/Romney questions big time.

I believe he thought the Socialist quote from me was truly going to be in the minority or thinking it was extreme because there were something like 12 of the 23 in the room that considered themselves moderate conservatives.

When he posed that question later on-air his staff about had a stroke. But if you got to listen closely later on I called her not only a socialist but a communist.

As for Ron Paul there was nothing else to say about him other than what I did. I was the only one who mentioned his name in discussion about them all.

Randi on Supreme Court Justice Alito: This guy [Judge Alito] just creeps me out. He's quiet. He's not a guy who shoots up stores, he dies in a blaze of glory. No. That's not who he is. He's like one of those guys who goes along for years really quietly ... murdering hookers. You know what I mean? That's more him. He's the kind of guy that you live next door to for 30 years, and then all of a sudden a bulldozer shows up, and there's 31 kids buried underneath. You know what I mean? That's his temperament. He's not a junkyard dog. He's not a barker. He's not like a [UN ambassador John] Bolton; y'know, obviously a big bully. No. He's more like a wolf in sheep's clothing. He looks really 'milk toasty'; you want to pet him, and actually, I want to make boots out of him. Y'know. But, uh. No. He's a hunter. And he's hunting for ways to - y'know - (changing tone) 'Balance of power? Oh. That's so '80's. 1780's!' You know what I mean? This is who he is."

I don’t think I ever spoke to him again after that. I was a voice in the wilderness that was constantly drowned out.

Doug "MyFavorteHeadache" Maher called me from the hospital tonight. He was experiencing back and chest pain today and decided to have it checked out.... turns out that he has a blood clot in his lung that could possibly move to his heart. They have him all tubed up with all kinds of drugs and blood thinners, and he's understandably a bit shook up as this is the same affliction that killed his dad at the age of 37. He'll probably be on blood thinners for he rest of his life.

For those who don't know Doug, he's a great guy all around. We're in a local organization together but our activism goes back several years.

The above pic (that's Doug on the left about to shove his sign up the stinky Rat's a$$) was taken in West Palm during the near riots of the 2000 elections, when we (and several other FReepers) nearly had our heads handed to us by angry Rats. This photo wound up on the front page of the NY Times, NY post, Stars and Stripes just to name a few. It was also featured on a 2 page spread in USA Today and was in numerous papers around the world. I happend to pull this one off the Chandigarth Tribune in India, where it's still up to this day.

As I said, Doug is a great guy and an A+ American. Say a prayer for him, even though I know God is going to take good care of him.

WHILE votes were still being counted in Florida yesterday, George W Bush adopted a presidential demeanour, summoning members of a “transition team” to the Texas Governor’s mansion to plan his move to the White House.

I just attended a lunch with Mitt Romney a few mins ago here on the Space Coast in Viera,Florida. Mitt is a class act, shook the hand, got the autograph and asked him what his plans were to curb the vile hate that Democrats have for this country and towards the media bias that taints every good thing that does happen in this country or in the war on terror.
Undecided my ass.
