One of the most-watched and highly regarded indices giving direction to the housing market is the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index published every month. When the second dip hits...what type of properties s/b bought and where.
I am eying multi-family units but not sure where to buy...i.e. what will be safe neighborhoods. Looking near railroads, major highways, no low income areas...but even middle class neighborhoods might get pinched.
