How close will we come to the 100,000 donor goal for Nov 5th?

I think best case is 12,000. But who cares? 6,000 is an enormous amount of donors. Absolutely huge. There is little doubt in my mind that we will be the top fundraising party by December. We'll all be jumping for joy on Nov 5 :) The graphs are an amazingly sharp curve upwards.

We have less than 12 hours to raise $160K to meet today's fundraising goal. Please check:

I wonder who will be jumping for joy today?

my guess is there will eventually be ~8-10 thousand signed up contributors plus a few thousand that just jump on the band wagon once they see the massive donations. But, as ronpaul4pres said, we should also be concerned with donations today. If you can, make a donation today AND nov. 5.

Like half now and half then?

those few thousand that jump on the band wagon will more likely be our cherished tin foil hat people that don't want their name on some list for fear of what the government will do if they get a hold of said list :D

Like half now and half then?

That would be wise.

Huh? We've been averaging 1,000 new sign ups a day and already have 6,500+ with 13 more days to go. Surpassing 10 thousand will be no problem.

I was thinking 20,000. I hope they all follow through.

I also encourage everyone to not hold out until later in the day. Let's get the ball rolling as early as we can (Not all at once at 12:01!) this could turn into a real feeding frenzy if people wake up that morning and we already have a few hundred thousand for the day!!!

I might suggest that some people swallow their Nov 5th pride and just donate the $100 now. We're currently $85K short. If, say, just 800 Nov 5 donors donated NOW, then we'll be much better off for today and for October in general.

I very much think it exciting and cool to raise so much money in one day, but doing that at the expense of the present may not be the best choice for our freedom campaign.
