Are those others likely to vote with Ron and Jones? Not much representation west of the Mississippi, which is a pity.

In terms of auditing the Fed, all the Republicans voted with Ron Paul. When Mel Watt introduced an amendment to water down HR1207, all the Republicans voted against it. What's important is who the Democrats will be because there were several that voted with Paul, such as Brad Sherman and William Lacy Clay.

Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology
William Lacy Clay (MO), Ranking Member
Carolyn Maloney (NY)
Gregory Meeks (NY)
Al Green (TX)
Emanuel Cleaver (MO)
Gary Peters (MI)

During the last Congress, Mel Watt was the Chairman of the Subcommittee. He is no longer a member of the Subcommittee.

Of the 6 Democrats on the Subcommittee, only William Lacy Clay and Gary Peters supported HR1207 over Mel Watt's watered down version.

I have heard only good things about Nan Hayworth.
