Does anyone know of some other frequently visited economics forums on the net? Not that I don't enjoy RPF, but I would like to discuss/debate some points of Austrian economics and other aspects with people who adhere to the other schools of economic thought. I've been looking around, but can't seem to find any that are frequented by people who are real economists or who have studied the subject as a profession. Any suggestions?

I haven't looked hard, but there are a lot of people (not sure how many are "real economists") chatting on Denninger's Market Ticker forums. Just beware that Denninger (owner and admin) is a bit of a curmudgeon and hostile to what he perceives as "gold bugs":

I think most "real economists" are kings of their own empires running blogs/newsletters. Lot's of discussions in the comments of numerous blogs, but I personally don't find that medium conducive to good discussion.

Mises.org has a forum and there are usually some pretty technical discussions. Not all users are that serious through, there is a bit of everything: http://mises.org/Community/forums/

Also, the comments of Coordination Problem is a kind of a forum where economist discuss: http://austrianeconomists.typepad.com/
