There are 400 ounces in a banker's bar (I think), which would equate to 109 bars. 109 bars would be around 43,750 ounces of gold at say, $1,350 USD per ounce would be about $59,062,500, at a spot of around 1.33 USD per EUR would be about EUR 44M.

There are approximately 454 "notes" per pound.
so, a ton of $1 dollar notes = $908,000.
and a ton of $100 dollar notes = $90,8000,000

I would take a ton of $100 denominated notes and then purchase gold.
