Probably. DVRs are basically just dumbed down computers. There would be a legitimate reason to put technology in DVRs to be able to remotely and selectively erase content (fight video piracy). Of course Bittorrent beats this. (A reason for DHS to go after file sharing).

but if this was true then why are the eps still up on youtube? this is one of the few American series not taken down by the copyright nuts.
