Who is Priebus?

I believe you can find his name on the back of a dollar bill.

Heck, maybe we should have put some effort into fighting this....

Does anybody know anything about him? Does he at least think that there should be room for debate in the GOP on the war in Afghanistan, for example?

If his name is on the back of a dollar bill our issue might end up being more with the federal reserve than with foreign policy, although I'm sure that type would use whatever lever was ready to hand. If his name being on the back of a dollar bill has anything to do with his 'type'.

I don't know a whole lot about any of the candidates, including Steele, except that Ron Paul likes him so I'm guessing he's a good choice. What's so good about him though?

He's spoke out against the Iraq war, and the neoconservatives generally dislike him. He's painted as incompetent manager, but it's hard to tell what is real and what is people just attacking.

Even if he is incompetent and a bad leader though, I really don't care either way about that.

He was snarky against Ron in the 2008 debates, but has reached out to us lately as his support elsewhere evaporated. It isn't that he is great, it is that he would be in part relying on us and we would have more clout, we hope.

Steele came out against the war in Afghanistan and even got Ron Paul to sign a end the fed book if I recall right.

Steele is what the GOP needs, it desperately needs to part with the wars and the neocon agenda. It has to a degree, but there are still way too many GOPers interested in saving face rather than opposing the wars they once championed.

Yeah. I had no idea what that comment actually meant.

Given that they're all pretty much running anti-Steele campaigns, and he managed to lose votes on the second ballot, I'd be shocked if he pulls out a win at this point.

It's not really that important, though. The only reason people are paying attention to it is because Steele has put himself in the public eye much more than is normal for the RNC chairman.

Who is Priebus?

Priebus sucks. He is from Wisconsin, I am from Wisconsin. He is opposed by the RLC, spearheaded by the Wisconsin delegation of the RLC. Priebus is basically a neocon RINO.

Dude no way in hell would steele get reelected. He spoke out against the war. Why on earth would the neocons want to leave him in a head position???
