I have been sending out emails to links for RP to a few people on my email list! Somewhere around 200! One lady emailed me back and said she never seen a list so big! :)

Here is my problem........ A lot of people have told me they don't have the time to sit down and watch the RP video's on youtube. So I asked them, If I sent you one video would you watch it! The responds was "If you put in the title this is the one I want you to watch"

So with that can this forum point me to the best RP PR Video! You know the video......The one that you watch and you think "WOW I need to learn more about this guy"

I have a few but I want to make sure I send them the best one!

Thanks again for your time!

Billy

http://RonPaulIsHope.com (use this one, not the one above--this URL is easy to remember, so there's more chance they'll spread it to their friends by word of mouth :) )

YOU know the answer to this, not us. You have some sort of personal relationship with these folks.

What are their passions and interests? Don't know? Ask them what are important issues to them?

Some folks hate taxes.
Some folks hate the war.
Some folks love their guns.
Some folks want to educate their children with out Washington.
Some folks hate the drug war.
Some folks hate the deficit.
Some folks are pro life.
Some folks are pro choice.
Some folks want to chose their own medications with out Washington.
Some folks want to protect our borders.
Some folks want to get Bin Laden.

You get the picture. It is powerful, and critical that you engage these folks in a personal way, and with Ron Paul's direct message as much as possible. You might not even agree with Ron Paul on a particular issue, but if that issue lines up with your target let them know about it anyway.

Being in the Baltimore/Washington area I have volunteered at RP national HQ a few times to answer his e-mail. We heavily use http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/ to research our answers to folks that want to know about his positions. Nothing is more powerful then a direct quote from Dr. Paul speaking to their exact issue. Quote him for a paragraph or two and then hyper link them to investigate further.

I find text the most powerful way to get specific with folks as there is SO much content directly from Dr. Paul in text format. If you insist on sending folks video then use the same methods that I speak of above.

The most important thing to not do is mass send the same thing to people. Do you expect them to spend 5 - 15 minutes consuming your content? Show them the courtesy of taking similar time to craft it just for them.

Good Luck and godspeed!

http://www.FreeMe.TVEvery time I go there all I get is the video filling my whole monitor and it is distorted and fuzzy. I see no way to shrink it down easily. Why can't it be made to start in a smaller box?

You also might want to look at the older one called "Stop dreaming."

This goes to show the power of YouTube. YouTube (and the internet) is the great equalizer to mainstream media. Add to the fact that YouTube videos has viral marketing built-in (embed-able links, easy-to-share links), it's truly powerful.

I was introduced to Ron Paul via YouTube and got hooked instantly.

The power in seeing and hearing Ron Paul's passion, character and principle ooze through the screen is undeniable (and passing out DVD's to the older, internet-challenge population is great for this reason).

People have short attention spans. Cater to them with YouTube.

I try to end my messages at other forums, websites, blogs with a link to a relevant Ron Paul YouTube video. Do the same.

Tip: Preface your YouTube links with a juicy teaser or lead-in to increase chances of people watching the clip. And I usually include roughly the length of the video to not scare away people who think it'll be a long 10-minute video. Tailor your videos to your audience. Examples:

"Ron Paul Calls for End to Drug War in this 3-minute video clip"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8S8N2OG7sU

"This guy got me to register Republican for the first time in 20 years!"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG2PUZoukfA

"A few minutes that can change the way you look at politics, forever"

Billy, take the time to send different videos to different people. People have mentioned the "Ron Paul is Hope" and "Stop Dreaming" videos, which I think are two good choices. However I know some people who would think the polygamy and 'don't tase me bro' references in Ron Paul is Hope are cheap shots and rather cheesy, while others are fine with it.

There's also a more recent video from a dinner he attended in LA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkuDEGrQUEo) which some people I know really like. He comes across as very cordial and personal in this video, and talks a lot about allowing people to be creative and follow their own paths. Some I know who are more creative by nature really like what he has to say in this one.

As I've been told many, many times in the past working in business, please take the time to know your audience!

People are smarter then you give them credit for. Please give my suggestions some thought at least for the folks that you can ferret out their passions from.
I watch a lot of Fox News and I am here.

I'm a mod at a sports forum and I have the Ron Paul Spreading the Word thread in the general forum! I have had a lot of positive responds, not to mention one guy said he donated and had never given money to a political person before!

I'm only one person but trying to do the best I can to spread the word!

The PBS News Hour video is fair.

Many of the C-SPAN videos are also very fair.

But if this is for people who don't know anything about Paul and you just want to get them excited, then yes, the Ron Paul: A New Hope video is very good.
