Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriff’s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system. It was also suggested that further pressing of charges would be unnecessary and probably cause more problems than it solved as Jared Loughner has a family member that works for Pima County.

There are facts though. The question came about because one of the deputies said something about having received a complaint or complaints about Loughner in a newspaper article. Then as I was heading out the door, MSNBC said something about them having at least 5 different incident reports on him.

Each and every one of those threats was an offense and had just one of them been prosecuted it would have resulted in the suspect being blacklisted in the NICS database - and thus he would not have been able to buy the gun he shot the people in Tuscon with.

She might well at this point, but probably not for months, at minimum from what I've been reading. They've waited years for others to recover, though.

The Sheriff said he "was being Managed". By?? Mental Health Professionals

MK ultra and many of it's sub projects were also handled by Mental Health professionals.
Several prestigious hospitals and virtually every major Pharmaceutical Corporation was involved.

There are still ongoing law suits.

Reason I mentioned it is , left side of brain is speech . Learning to talk again could take a long time and be very frustrating . I hope the best for her . My wife passed at 40 with an aneurysm . Several years prior to that , I had a young guy who worked for me who had a girlfriend who survived an aneurysm and it was two or three years for her to get most speech back.

:confused: I seriously hope your not implying that because of what this idiot did that that means he wasn't "under someone's care". Like who? Psych Doctors? Give me a break, they could give two shits about their patients as long as they're taking the pills (that they get kick-backs for........).

I have first hand, fucked up experience with these drugs( No, I wasn't the one on them:p) and "doctors care".

You know those commercials where they hurriedly speak of the side effects during the last 2/3 of the commercial-some being far worse than the condition taken for-and to "notify your doctor right way if x,y,z"...BS. We did exactly that, and were blown off,by 6 different doctors over a year. So what does the doctor say when you do report these crazy ass side-effects???

"that only happens to a small number of people(i.e. so it couldn't be that)"those side-effects aren't very common", or, "it's all in your head(it most certainly was)"

This person is off the poison now-and doing amazing.


As seen in the sheriff's comments, I guess people just assume that because someone is "under a doctors care", that the doctor is constantly in tune with their patients. I can assure you this is not the case. My situation, the person only saw the doc once/twice a year....on 2 different seizure meds, and 2 different "psych" meds.

She was considered "under a doctors care" as well.:rolleyes:

I'm willing to bet money that he was either

a. currently on medication, or;

b. very recently stopped taking them.

I've seen the results of pulling "B" as well, NOT pretty. I watched someone I thought I knew become someone else ENTIRELY over the course of a week when the doc took her off one med and started her on another, you have to be weened off these poisons or some pretty creepy shit starts to happen with their personality, trust me.
