Yeaw I hope this guy goes down in the next election. He is flat out using this sad event to attack his political opponents. Though the news is talking about strong divisions in the country starting this they are doing everything in their power to inflame the divisions by over politicizing it.

I dont think he is really a lefty/socialist, because he cites an Ayn Rand book as preferred as well. He seems incoherent or confused politically (or more intelligent than the rest of us, who knows).

As long as you don't tick off your constitutents any further with even more nonsensical rhetoric, you'll likely survive your tour of duty as sheriff... ;) The people are ticked off precisely BECAUSE of unconstitutional encroachment into their personal lives and further restricting their freedom will only tick them off even more.
