Rand made me laugh yesterday!

So we're standing around the party yesterday just chatting it up and I casually mention, "Rand, we should now work to get you to be Vice President in this next election"!


He turns, looks at me with a straight face, pauses for a couple of seconds in seemingly deep though, and in absolute dead-pan, asks me "Vice President of what?"

I nearly fell on the floor I was laughing so hard. His delivery was perfect. David Boaz, VP of Cato also standing nearby was laughing pretty hard too.

I'm guessing it's a reference to the state of affairs in this country (i.e., if this country continues its old ways, it won't be around for the 2016 election).

I thought it was just Rand being overly and purposefully humble. Obviously he knows he was referring to VP of the USA, but Rand is pretending to be so humble that he pretended to have no idea what he was talking about.
