Well, so much for Prohibition being dead.

Makes no sense. States rely heavily on regular sales taxes for booze, and smokes. Raising the taxes will indeed cause people many to quit and harm businesses, thus reducing tax revenue collected in the long run and harming the economy.

College kids will just get bombed at home before they drive to the bar. That means they wont be driving once on the way home but once on the way to the bar sauced as well. That tax doubles imnocent drivers risks. Logic fail.
