Um...Yeah. Charlie Chaplin was the opposite of Ron Paul and should not be used to promote him and his ideas. Charlie was pro war, made movies that were anti Capitalism, and based on some of the key words in that clip was most likely a socialist/communist. It's funny, most socialists say things like "Liberty", "Progress", as well as other things that may seem pro "Real Liberty" but what they are saying is businesses are bad and greedy and take advantage of the people and they always want a strong government to put a stop to it, yet they fail to realize that if not for the governments monopoly on force over the people businesses wouldn't have any power. It's the government that grants the power that businesses have over the people.

it's an inspiring speech and it looks and sounds really cool... but i think roho76 is right. when you look beneath the surface, it's a very anti-liberty message he is delivering.

you might want to consider using speeches more like this:

there are lots of pro-liberty speeches that are very inspirational that are better suited to Ron Paul's campaign. but that's just my 2 cents. looking forward to seeing the finished product... feel free to keep posing drafts if you want feedback.

i do like the speech for its accurate criticism of the police state and the fact that big businesses have taken over power.... but i just feel like there is a communist undertone to the speech... rather than offering liberty and small government as the solution to this problem (since these problems are the result of the current fascist/communist government)

I skipped the first 30seconds, and then I listened to it for 15seconds and then I stopped.

Critique:
- black&white = boring
- a guy talking = boring
- emotional language preaching to the quire = what's the point?

Suggestions:
Understand that it's because of human nature that any decision we ever make is a means to two ends:
- first and foremost to avoid pain
- and second to seek pleasure

(I suggest you read: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?272747-We-Need-to-Change-our-Strategy-in-Converting-Others-%28VERY-URGENT-POST!%29)
Figure out how those who are not already aligned with our values achieve these two ends in their life and show them how the government will cause them pain and liberty give them pleasure. If you can do that you'll have your self a powerful video.

Sorry for the harsh criticism.
