Yeah...the whole Constitutional authorization bit isn't really going do anything. All any member of Congress has to do is point to the Commerce Clause or the Necessary and Proper Clause to excuse any of their statist plots, as they have already perverted the meanings of those clauses...

while you know that they will inevitably point to bullshit like the commerce clause and the general welfare clause it will effectively enhance the debate about the validaty and legitimacy of such interpretations.
