I thought this was funny. It seems that the ONE star wars film that the National Film Registry choose to have the Library of Congress preserve was The Empire Strikes Back.

Not 'A New Hope' where the freedom-loving rebels crush the Empire, nor the 'Return of the Jedi' where the rebels AGAIN defeat the Empire (This time forever). Nope but the one where the Empire delivers a crushing blow to the people who want freedom.

Why am I not surprised at OUR empire's choice of movie?
