Pulling a Glenn Beck implies Beck was faking the crying. This crap can get emotional, and Jones and Beck aren't exactly unemotional androids in the first place. Now someone will try and post pictures of Beck get prepped for crying to appear in a Time magazine photo op. Beck cried on a previous episode and Time wanted to recreate that on their cover - the hell do you think they would do: talk with him in hopes of getting an emotional outburst with a cameraman standing by, or ask him to get prepped for the photo they desired?

I cant read the declaration of Independence out loud with out getting choked up. It is a matter of understanding the implications of what you are talking about and how they effect life as a whole that make you get emotional about a subject.

Wait, start it at 8:30, he starts crying then and says, "why does Glenn Beck copy everything I do?"

That's pretty funny out of context.

That just proves my point - the photographers wanted a crying Beck and that's exactly what they got - he was responding to their requests so TIME could find just the right shot. They weren't going to interview him in hopes of stirring up a tear and hope a cameraman was standing by to catch just the right shot.

I am starting to dislike him.

This is what I hear when I watch Alex.

the TSA is not aloud to do this. they are blaming the man with the turban. we are to powerful to care about a guy in a turban. we are letting them take away our liberty. please help stop this.

Alex Jones has been doing that as long as I've been listening to him, which is before I ever heard of Beck... not that I like it when either of them does it. I don't watch Beck, anymore, after he all but called us terrorists for raising millions for Ron Paul back in 07 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg8M2JBIoqo) when he still worked for CNN, but I do see clips online of him.

I do think Beck picks up stuff from Jones, or at least he keeps up with the real patriot stuff so he can mimic it.

Yeah, it's probably those "tough guys" who think showing ones emotions is not what a macho man should do. They are a product of their upbringing.

At times, tears come to my eyes when I think of what has been happening to this country.

Alex has right to cry or laugh or whatever.
The important thing is, Alex has been promoting Ron Paul for 13 plus years and that's the only thing that matters.
He has my full support.

You are free to like or not like AJ. But he hasn't copied crap from Glenn Beck. If anything, Glenn Beck's schtick (since he has been at fox) is just a watered down wussifed version of AJ's, with a little more neocon-approved "puppies, mom, and apple pie"-type of pointlessness thrown in there.

Ya I agree, it was just funny out of context, the clip in it's entirety is fantastic, and anybody mocking him in this thread, as AJ said, will eventually see the error of their ways. They will be hurt just like us, but they can carry the weight of knowing that they helped bring us to this place.

Regardless of who's copying who, what Jones says is pure, paranoia porn. That's it. And while I'm glad he has supported Ron for years, that does not give him a free pass for the crazy shit he talks about. I hope you would feel the same way about any RP supporters.

He talks almost entirely about documented, admitted facts.

Alex wasn't really pulling a GB in the OP. He got choked up a bit, but he didn't sound like a blubbering baby ala GB.

He goes off the handle sometimes but since we're living in a looney tunes police state, I don't blame him
