Although how that is supposed to be a flight risk, unless you turn it over to the pilot, is not entirely clear to me.

Researchers and security experts question the technology's ability to detect chemical explosives that are odorless, far smaller than previous incarnations, and easily molded to fool machines and security screeners into thinking they are part of the human body.
But the LOBBIESTS who sell these things are very effective, you know, if the machines aren't....
