I just caught wind of this event and another aimed at phoning in suspicious activity to Wal-marts. They happened yesterday.

It was to protest "Big Sister" video's at Walmart Checkouts.

2 Meetups participated - the NYC C4L and Tampa 9/11 truthers. The former had 13 confirmed participants, the latter 10.
A Facebook Event page had 2,105 attending and 801 maybe attending.

There was at least one tweet, but possibly just one tweet announcing the event.
4 Youtube video's were produced, 2 of which were the same person. Perhaps more will be posted in coming days.
A search of RPF's and DP found nothing on the event. There was no announcement across the organizer networks and as far as I can tell it wasn't advertised on the C4L site.
Number of news articles about this action = ZERO!

Then there is the "National" part of the event. These "Big Sister" screens are in 230 Walmarts currently, and are going to be put in 588 stores total in 27 states. There are 4,237 Walmarts in the US. It's a pretty good bet that the employees and managers in the 4,007 Walmarts that don't have the "Big Sister" screens are oblivious to their existence.

Making a video of yourself wandering around a Walmart picking up things and then putting them on shelves in different departments just makes RP supporters seem like nut jobs and adds to the employee's restocking load. It doesn't deliver a message.

Bringing a shopping cart full of goods to a check out that has one of these screens, Objecting to it loudly and walking out without purchasing anything WILL get the managers full attention and if it happens enough, will get the "Big Sister" screens pulled, rather than the program extended.
