Gold may be "fiat" if it is declared an official currency, but it can't be so "fiat" that a ruler can simply print it into existence.

The latter value is an essential aspect of the reason that free-markets have embraced gold as currency, throughout the ages.

Gold is God's fiat currency.

I have absolutely no idea what this post is about, but I will share with you all a little unknown fact. "Myrrh" is a drug, a narcotic painkiller that they tried to give Jesus when He was on the cross. They gave it to those who were being crucified to deaden the pain. Yet Jesus, who was suffering unbelievable pain, refused the drug Myrrh. Why? I prayed on this and what I realized is that Jesus wanted to be fully aware and conscience of His crucifixion and His death. Unbelievable.
