Norway's main business newspaper reported Wednesday that the Aftenposten news service has obtained unfettered and unauthorized access to the entire cache of secret government documents held exclusively by Wikileaks and its founder, Julian Assange.

Looks like they have all the Manning docs and not everything WikiLeaks has.

And this is how it gets buried. They'll now release all of it at once instead of a few hundred cables at a time like wikileaks brilliantly wanted. This will of course lead to a bit more damage at first but with MSM only skimming through it they'll pick and choose what to emphasize from such a huge file and just bury the important stuff in too much information and by the time ordinary people can work through it they'll move on with this topic and stop reporting on it all together. Viola, problem solved.

I don't know how profit driven this paper is. But if they are, then they would be smart to do what wikileaks is doing, just with different cables.

So does the Guardian, the NYT, Le Monde, and some other papers. They have signed agreements with Wikileaks that they will not release anything without any correspondence.

They are talking shit. Simple as that.

"I have no comments on how we have secured access to the documents. We never give our sources, even in this case,"

Simple as that. Click it and download it. You will have the entire Cache.

The only reason they are"releasing" a few at a time is because there are so many. Information overload.
There is no way this paper can print 250.000 cables either. Not all at once.

You either didn't read the article or have no idea what is in the torrent you are even linking to. The torrent only includes the ~1900 cables Wikileaks has released so far. The Norwegian paper claims that they have the cache of 250000.

If true, Aftenposten would be the only international news organization to have direct possession of the entire trove of U.S. diplomatic cables and military records believed to have been originally leaked by U.S. Army Private Bradley Manning.
Wikileaks is an international news organization.

I guess we'll see. If they release anything that has not been released.
Till then they are talking shit.

(The Torrent link calls it the entire cache.,but the HTML links to stuff not yet released don't work. Yet)
