If Indiana Republican Rep. Mike Pence decides to run for president, he’ll announce his candidacy before the end of January.

Redstate is going bonkers for this guy to announce.

I generally favor a crowded primary, but I think I make an exception for this guy since the Redstate loves him so much.

Well if Red state likes perfect fisical conservatives but war hawks and civil liberties grabber then Pence is there guy

By definition, one cannot be a perfect fiscal conservative without reducing the US foreign interventionism, national offense spending, and big gov't encroachments on civil liberties.

Pence is on my watchlist, and will require further vetting.

Agree, but a war hawk is an oxymoron to a "perfect" fiscal conservative. :D

Pence is the perfect candidate to trick conservative voters who hate the republican party into voting for another Bush league republican in my opinion.

Yes I agree he is not perfect was just saying if their test at Redstate is for a politician to be great on all fisical issues, like he wont re-authorize unemployment or welfare or really anything except the war then Pence is the guy they would like

Mike Pence is a liberal internationalist on foreign policy.

He will not see a dime or any volunteer time from me until he does a '180' on those views.

And why would you believe him if he did? I watched that interview with him on a sunday morning show -- it came on right after Rand's interview. Pence came across as the typical any thing, but nothing controversial power-hungry political douchebag. He'd just be 4 years of bush style republicanism.

Interesting that Paul and Pence seem to be considering announcing at the same time.

I was leaving it open-ended in case the guy has a traditional conservative epiphany which is about a 0.1% likelihood of occurring.

Pence is Running for President... all the insiders have been chatting about it. It's a Done deal, AIPAC PENCE will be pumped-up by money and the collaboration of MSM.

This guy is a Marionette Globalist to protect Israel and the Money Masters... always has been their puppet from day one. There's a gazillion Youtubes of him kissing Israel's ass for any event that needs recognition. So blatantly done...

Pence is a true believer, emotionally/physically/monetarily/psychologically addicted to this belief in
the sacrosanctness of Israel as an outcome of a visit to Yad Vashem.

Mark Braverman described Yad Vashem as an indoctrination center.

US Congressmen are trotted to Israel, taken to YV, and administered
the injection; thereafter, they are hooked.

Worth noting that AIPAC managed to carve out a special exemption in US Tax Code for their activities in taking US legislators on those trips, from the controls on gifts to congressmen.

The whole game is rigged... the others in the race will be there to dilute the voters and backing to true Libertarian/Conservative/Constitutional candidate.

It's the fuckin MATRIX over and over...

PS: there's a great documentary on this from the 50's and how the primaries and conventions are controlled with actual footage and tactics at party primaries ... I'll have to search for it again.

Listen to this PROGRAMMING from AIPAC PENCE... http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=5838

I don't think Pence will run for president; an almost sure path to be governor vs a long shot for the white house.

I don't like Pence's positions on foreign policy issues, but I still like him a lot better than the likes of Romney, Gingrich, Palin, etc. I keep hoping that conservatives like Pence will take a more traditionally conservative approach to foreign policy issues as time goes on.
