Arizona Campaign for Liberty would like to congratulate Brian Miller for his recent election as Chairman for Pima County in Arizona. We are truly thrilled to have "one of our own" represent us at a County level here in Arizona.

Brian Miller gained the local spotlight when he received an endorsement from Ron Paul during his campaign for Congressional district 8 in Tuscon.“Brian is a dynamic young leader who understands our Constitution and will fight against out-of-control government to restore our Liberty." said Ron Paul.

Brian Miller, who lost in the CD8 Republican primary, was elected chairman of the Pima County Republican Party on Saturday.

Miller jumped into politics in a bid for a chance at unseating Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, but the primary nod went to Jesse Kelly. Miller dropped out of the campaign two weeks before the Aug. 24 election, citing fundraising difficulties. He endorsed Jonathan Paton, who went on to lose to Kelly.

Miller likes to link himself to Texas Rep. Ron Paul, and espouses many of the same positions: he's for low taxes, against government involvement in health care, opposes the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and favors immigration reform.

During the primary campaign, Miller, an A-10 pilot in the Air Force Reserve, said he was against stationing troops on the border, calling a militarized border "abhorrent."
