Americans Can’t Afford These Tax Hikes (http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/255522/americans-cant-afford-these-tax-hikes-kathryn-jean-lopez)

Ryan hits hard in The House Today... I hope the Democrats are prepared in January, because the cuts are coming.

Isn't this the same guy that was arguing for TARP just a few years ago..?

Isn't this the same guy that was arguing for TARP just a few years ago..?

They don't like to talk about that.

Paul Ryan wants budget cuts? Since when?

He wants to increase spending slower and eventually cut spending. I'm sure FrankRep can find The New American article discussing Paul Ryan's alternate budget. It is terrible. Don't be fooled by the dog and pony show.

He should be voted out. However, the people like him. They think he is a true conservative.

Sorry Mr. Ryan, but you can't plead for multi-trillion dollar bailouts one day - and then slam tax hikes on another day.

The cost of your beloved 2008 bailout, and all the new powers that you gave to the FED, will have to be paid with either higher taxes, or more money printing (which is in essence a form of sneaky taxation that we pay in the form of higher food prices)

Mr. "Young Gun" is selling the same old bullshit. You're a sleazy poltician Mr. Ryan. Sit down, shut up, and let Dr. Paul handle this.

He's been there since 1999. He is a politician:

"CREDIT IS CONFIDENCE. "
"DOING NOTHING IS THE WORST THING WE COULD DO."
"TO PREVENT THOSE JOBS FROM BEING LOST, TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUENTS FROM LOSING THEIR RETIREMENT FUNDS, FROM NOT GETTING THAT HOME LOAN, THAT CAR LOAN. "

I will give him credit for voting against the Housing and Economic Recovery Act, though.

*edit* Let me tract that complement, he actually advocated nationalizing the companies getting bailed out:

"EITHER PRIVATIZE THEM OR PUBLICIZE THEM, BRING THEM INTO THE GOVERNMENT AND MAKE THEM GOVERNMENT AGENCIES BECAUSE THE TAXPAYER WILL BE LEFT HOLDING THE LOSS ON THIS BAILOUT."

If Americans can't afford tax hikes, they would have no problem voting for The biggest tax cutter (Dr. Paul)
