Elected tea partier Allen West calls for mass censorship of US media
The government should censor news agencies that report on US documents leaked by websites like WikiLeaks, according to a tea party-backed Republican who will soon represent the 22th district congressional of Florida.
Speaking with an online radio station, Rep.-elect Allen West said that attacks on the US were not limited to "a bomb or an airplane flying into a building," but could occur "through cyber attacks" or "through leaking of very sensitive classified information."

Politicians will always try to latch on to the latest trend. For what it's worth I dont see Mr. West with a forum on here or much real support and that's all that should matter to us, almost anyone can call themselves anything - or solicit support from any 'group - but they're seldom the genuine article

I wouldnt throw all tea partiers under the bus yet though. There are thousands of different organizations, some serious about liberty and some using the language of liberty to win elections, but heres the important thing: the media is misusing this 'tea party' label, slapping it on any grassroots, pro-freedom organization and makng it seem as if tea partiers are monolithic, then using the fakes like West to give them all a bad name.
Dont fall for it, just wipe the label 'tea party' out of your mind and see people for what they actually are.
