Each senator gets an operating budget. They can hire as many people as needed, without going over budget. Everything the Senator does comes from the operating budget, for example, if Rand Paul flies home every week - that comes out of the budget.

Chief of Staff Matt Collins joins Sen.-elect Paul's office with over a dozen years of conservative grassroots activism experience, including Campaign for Liberty and most recently, the National Right to Work Committee. Matt Collins will serve as the Assistant to the Chief of Staff.

Matt Collins, Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director, served in outgoing Sen. Jim Bunning's office for the past 11 years, most recently as Legislative Director and Counsel and Staff Director of Senator Bunning's Banking Committee subcommittee.

State Director Matt Collins is a Louisville lawyer who has counseled numerous conservative candidates and advanced conservative causes for many years.

Matt Collins, Deputy State Director, worked in state operations for Sen. Bunning as a Field Representative in the 1st District.

Communications Director Matt Collins most recently served under the same title at the Republican Party of Kentucky.

Other positions within Sen.-elect Paul's operation include the following Kentucky District and Field Representatives; more announcements will follow:
