WEST: There are different means by which you can be attacked. I mean it doesnt have to be a bomb or an airplane flying into a building. It doesn’t have to be a shooting. It can be through cyber attacks, it could be through leaking of very sensitive classified information. Regardless of whether you think it causes any harm, the fact that here is an individual that is not an American citizen first and foremost, for whatever reason gotten his hands on classified American material and put it out there in the public domain. And I think that we also should be censoring the American news agencies which enabled him to do this and also supported him and applauding him for the efforts. So that’s kind of aiding and abetting of a serious crime.

Allen B. West (born February 7, 1961) is a Republican U.S. Representative-elect from Florida's 22nd congressional district. In the 2010 mid-terms, he was elected as the first African-American Republican Congressman from Florida since Josiah T. Walls in 1876.[4]

West served in the military in Iraq and was a civilian adviser in Afghanistan. West achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army and retired after an investigation of his conduct during the interrogation of a detainee in Taji, Iraq.[5]

West spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference on February 20, 2010 and was endorsed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.[13] As one of 32 African-American Republican candidates for Congress in 2010, West said he supported the Tea Party movement and dismissed the notion of "racism" therein as having been made up by liberal critics and the news media.[14]

If this guy is representative of Tea Party candidates, we are sooooo.... screwed! What is it about black politicians and not getting the kind of "change" they were elected to office to provide?
