ouch !

'Discussing Cheney en route to a Tea Party event in Paducah, Rand did not hesitate to voice his opinion about his Republican foes: “They are the true neocons, they are ‘conservative’ because they’re military hawks, but they are not conservative, because they are not fiscally conservative. Didn’t [Cheney] say ‘deficits don’t matter’?” No matter how personal his critics became, Rand would always discuss the neoconservatives in measured tones, treating them like has-beens, fossils without a place in the new Tea Party environment.'

Similarly, after the Rachel Maddow controversy in which the MSNBC host drubbed him for his reservations about one provision of the 1964 Civil Rights Act—she equated Rand’s support for private-property rights with the reinstitution of Jim Crow laws—he intended to go on “Meet the Press” to explain his position in detail. He was only dissuaded from doing so by the insistence of his top adviser: his wife.

Thank his wife for that! Meet the Press would have been nothing but an ambush by that big government socialist douchebag David Gregory.

Back in the day the puritans were hating on Rand. I kept on saying he was "playing the game"! I and many of us knew this.

I'm not convinved that Cheny is even human, he's had how many heart attacks and still lives? I really don't understand how a lot of these older than dirt gloablists are still jet-setting all over the world when other people their age are either dead or can't even get around anymore. Glad that Rand is telling it like it is in regards to Cheney.

He didn't call Cheney a has been. That's what the writer of the article said.

The Rand-deniers will soon have no leg to stand on. They should have never doubted Rand to begin with.

And some here were worried about our boy.....

I was a little worried because I've heard that Rand had a bit different views on foreign policy than Ron and some of his comments seemed to be more hawkish. The one thing I wasn't sure about if that's indeed the case or just something he used as a campaign tactic. I said I would support Rand and try not to say anything negative about him till he was actually elected and had a record we could criticize before going for his jugular... :) and I have to proudly admit that Rand has handled himself like a true champion of liberty so far and I just hope his record will be the same once he takes office...

Rand told me that he would like to be judged by how he votes, not how he campaigns.

That's what I like to hear!
