Sure, try to sneak this by us while everyone is distracted with preparing for the holidays. This is from the email I received from ALIPAC:

Friends of ALIPAC,

The latest information we have indicates that the US Senate may be within one vote of passing cloture for Dream Amnesty!

Furthermore, we have told the media and lawmakers that the Dream Act is a much broader Amnesty than anyone expects, due to the fact that there is no verification of the age of the applicant, the age the applicant entered the US, or the time an illegal alien has been in the US.

The bill also contains the line allowing Janet Napolitano to arbitrarily waive any and all provisions and grant mass Amnesty to about every illegal alien in America if she or her successor wants to.

"(2) WAIVER- With respect to any benefit under this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security may waive the ground of inadmissibility under paragraph (1), (4), or (6) of section 212(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)) and the ground of deportability under paragraph (1) of section 237(a) of that Act (8 U.S.C. 1227(a)) for humanitarian purposes or family unity or when it is otherwise in the public interest."

YOU MUST act NOW AMERICA. YOU MUST AWAKEN AND START BOMBARDING THE SENATE WITH CALLS OPPOSING THE DREAM ac. YOU MUST NOT STOP UNTIL THE SENATE EITHER DEFEATS DREAM OR LEAVES FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

Take Action with these steps.

Step 1: Prepare yourself to fight right up until and through Christmas Eve if necessary. ALIPAC and our allies in DC are making these plans, as the Democratic leadership may decide to deliver Dream Amnesty on Christmas Eve in order to minimize public attention and backlash.

Step 2: Galvanize your resolve to do as much as possible to stop the Dream Amnesty and to rally others online and around you to help. You must all be Paul Reveres. You must be the media because the media is not responding to us right now.

Step 3: Help us challenge and bypass the media road blocks! Major news conduits we rely on are NOT reporting that he Dream Amnesty passage could be imminent or the negative consequences of the bill. Even worse, many sources (like Sean Hannity and several Fox News guests) are telling you not to worry about a thing and to just relax because Dream Amnesty won't pass.

We need you pounding these sources with calls and emails saying, "The US Senate is within 1 vote of passing mass Amnesty for illegal aliens any day now and I can't believe you are barely covering this story! Please warn Americans that millions of illegal aliens could receive amnesty before Christmas if passed in the Senate!"

You can access a full list of media targets that need your attention and you can work on your own local media, favorite blogs, and favorite talk radio shows. Right now Fox News and Drudge Report are taking a dive on this and even sites like World Net Daily need to respond more than what we are seeing.

Yes, I'm ready to help ALIPAC challenge and bypass media roadblocks by distributing the release "America Sleeps While Mass Amnesty Looms" at this link...

Step 4: Wave after wave of calls, emails, and faxes must flood the targeted senators that we have provided you. Better yet, Americans should be walking through their doors in DC and their District offices all day long to say "Vote NO on CLOTURE for the Dream Amnesty (add details here)"!

In our opinion, the only thing that can stop Dream Amnesty from passing is a massive public political outcry against the bill and right now THAT IS NOT HAPPENING.

Please visit this link to use our latest messages and targeting info. Call all targets and then call again! Check this page often as the targets and messages will change as things develop.

YES, I AM READY TO HELP ALIPAC FLOOD SENATE OFFICES WITH CALLS, EMAILS, and PEOPLE AT THIS LINK....

Prepare for a long battle, rally your friends and neighbors, contact talk radio, Fox, Drudge, and World Net Daily to get them moving against Dream Amnesty, and call the Senate like there is no tomorrow.

I seriously doubt you will see much reaction on these forums. Many are ignorant of what is going to happen if that bill is signed into law and the ramifications of what it will mean to this movement. All they can see is their lopsided view of anarchy being why this particular bill is acceptable to them.

I find it rather sad really.

ALIPAC isn't a great source. They very well may be just trying to rile up people.

I think the DREAM (nightmare) act will fail...again.

Thanks, I pretty much knew that going in but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

Going back to some of the threads concerning illegal immigration, we can get a pretty good view of the way people think on that subject. They believe it is libertarian to allow people to cross the border without doing so legally. Many believe it is not libertarian to even have borders.

What they fail to understand is, we do have borders and a problem with people crossing it illegally. In their perfect world, yes, it would be great not to have borders and these problems, but right now, we don't live in their perfect world. When these people who came here illegally get the chance to vote, who do those who claim to want liberty believe those people will vote for? Of course those people who get amnesty will vote for the Democrats and further move us toward a socialist state. Imagine over two million more democrats voting in the next election. Do these people actually believe Ron Paul or any other liberty minded person in the Republican party is going to win if that is the case?

Illegals cross the borders for many reasons, and not all are Mexicans. Some cross to work, others for the welfare, some for riconquista, some for sharia law.

The welfare system (and government regulation like workman's comp) has turned everything upside down. What normally would not be a problem, amounts to loss of Sovereignty. (http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul389.html) as Ron Paul states.

Businesses who hire legal Americans now find themselves not only competing with the illegal employers, but they are also forced to subsidize the low wages paid to the illegal workers by providing welfare programs. This so called "cheap labor costs the American taxpayer big time. Twenty years ago farmers were experiencing the same thing. Now they are dependent on the illegal workforce. Little do these illegal employers realize that they are bring about the same demise to their workforce.

Until we deal with the welfare system and legalize drug usage, we would be wise to vote against any amnesty.
