At least they admit it.

Dial 911 and die.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A Lawrenceville man was fatally shot by police after a domestic dispute Saturday morning.

At 5:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Charleston Court because of a fight between a husband and his wife, Lawrenceville police Capt. Greg Vaughn said.

When two officers arrived, they tried to arrest 28-year-old James Felio, but he wouldn’t cooperate, Vaughn said. He said a struggle ensued between Felio and one of the officers.

The other officer thought that Felio was trying to take the officer’s gun, so he shot and killed Felio, Vaughn said.

“Domestic situations are some of the most dangerous calls that an officer can go on. It’s dangerous for all parties involved,” Vaughn told Channel 2’s Rebecca Lindstrom.

Vaughn said Felio’s wife was not seriously injured.

Gwinnett County police were investigating the incident.

I suppose the wife called the cops. It doesn't say in the article, but when are people going to learn to just settle the situation themselves without calling in the cops?

Or they just dream up the excuse of domestic disturbance when nothing else fits like Diamondhead Police Department and Garland County sheriff's office when Jerry Chambliss shot Officer Fred Ensminger in Self Defense.

The officer in this article beat another man after he was handcuffed about a month before this on another 911 call. Threatened to drown five children who where swimming in the lake a few days before and still carries a badge as a plumbing inspector in Hot Springs Village.
