Recently, the Turkish ambassador to Austria has been criticizing Austria. Here is a rebuttal.

Turkey can treat it's Christian citizens better and Austria can treat it's Muslim citizens better. Pointing fingers at the other doesn't help anyone.

Your statement ignores the fact that when you go to a country you accept the parameters of existence of that country upon entry. You do not enter a country, knowing the parameters, and live like you did in your home country... and then bitch about the parameters of the country you entered.

Examples:

1. Entering Austria, living like a 8th century heathen, in your 8th century heathen enclave, and then bitch about how you are treated.

2. Entering Turkey, as a Catholic priest, and expecting the heathens not to kill you.

Europe is being overrun with this crap right now and they have a long history of resolving these issues when it gets to a boiling point. Expect the German speaking nations, as usual, to address these issues first... Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Austria and Switzerland are taking the lead on this now.

Those Christians have been in Turkey for centuries. They should just be accepted to be killed?

If the Austrian government was Libertarian, then no Muslim would have complained, because the friction with the government would have been minimal.

As BlackTerrel points out, Christians in Turkey have been there for a long time. Paul was from what would today be Turkey (Tarsus).

In a Libertarian state a Muslim can freely practice his religion, educate his children according to his beliefs, and live his lifestyle just as he lived it in his original country.

boohoo austria.

Thank your shit government for letting these people in and placing you in the EU. Grow a pair like this speaker and stand up.

The Turks did not magically enter Austria, some Austria traitor opened the gates of Vienna to let these Turks invade.

Traitor to who? You think Ron Paul would make it illegal for Turks to immigrate to the US?

Not certain if you listened to the video...

We did not ask you to sen us all the illiterates of Anatolia. Turkey sent them here. We haven't asked you to send yo your stone-age islamists from Anatolia either

This quote from the speaker is a lie. The illiterates of Anatolia were not sent by Turkey. They were accepted by the Austrian government.

Answering your question, yes I would hope that Ron Paul would support having literates from Anatolia rather than illiterates. Personal, I would prefer secular rather than stone-age islamists from Anatolia.
