So you get on your computer and connect to "369249" with your instant messenger?
I can't figure out how that would be done.

Though I haven't used this system, might the phone number need to be 10 digits in length?

all i did was google this: send a text to a cell phone from the internet

that was the first service that popped up. maybe there is another one you could try.
it would be nice to have for when fox news has their debate polls.

Yeah, and when they can't pay the bill for that crazy gadget, they ask me for money.

Even though no one responded to my post and I still don't exactly know what this is for, I am going to have faith that you guys are not trying to trick me and take the chance to text for liberty. If someone steals my identity or something, I am coming for you!

Well the results were in!

Over 80% (!!!!) Voted 'Buy' (positive) for Libertarianism!

11% were 'Sell' (negative) and 9% were 'Hold' (Don't know). Great stuff!

Basically, at the end of every 'Scoreboard' show on Fox Business News with David Asman, they go over the news and have debates with a panel that's different pretty much every night. Almost everyone on the panel said 'Buy', and in general they were debating whether Libertarianism was starting to take hold and if it was desirable.

personally I think FN does polls like this to see where their audience is at and whether they should become more or less of a show geared towards libertarian philosophy. it seems that, over time, they have definitely raised the flag to want to be the show for libertarianism and libertarians, what with shows like 'Stossel' and 'FreedomWatch' and with their significant focus on the free market and staying out of social issues otherwise (but supporting high civil liberties and antiwar when on those two aforementioned shows).

I forgot to mention though that the vote had to be put in by 8:00 PM (when the show ended).
