Got some spending money today so I'm going buy some books from my wish list. I've used Amazon for the past few years. However, in light of the Wikileaks ordeal, I'm going to buy them from B&N's website. They will cost 10% more than Amazon, but I guess it's my small way of protest.

I heard on the news where Amazon in UK is selling e-books of the complete (latest) wikileaks.

He's awesome. If you didn't know, he has a YouTube channel. Organize by "most viewed" to see his economic forecasts on TV.

Amazon is a heavy hitter fighting against online taxation too. Not going to abandon them just yet

Why? I just had the most painless customer service call ever with them, and I was calling to replace a $250 item (Kindle) that had broken, and the warranty expired in less than a month. It's not Amazon's job to resist the statist crackdown on transparency. Their job is to get me quality products and provide decent customer service. They do it well.

Not a bad idea, I will order from Barnes and Noble (or some other Amazon competitor) as well.
