Hello all. I am working on a paper for a rhetoric class on what policy we should take towards Iran. I have taken a position of rolling back some of the sanctions and engaging Iran more strongly than in the status quo.

However, I have to do much to describe the other options available. So I am looking for two things in particular.

1) Discussions of the consequences of a strike on Iran, by either/both Israel or the US. This has to be fairly academic- InfoWars or Fox News will not cut it.

2) Specifically what sanctions are on Iran.

I am gathering my own research on it, but I figured if anybody happens to keep any of this information on hand then it might be handy. Thanks!

If you think about it, "we" shouldn't even have a "policy" towards Iran or any other country. We can only act as individuals, anything else is just collectivism. :(

International relations is a key role of the government. In this case, we have created a massive mess with Iran and need to find a way out.

I'm not arguing about what government does. I'm asking if "we" should have a policy towards a another country? (or more specifically, another country's government)? Is this not pure collectivist nonsense?
